Winch drum
The drum is probably the hardest part to get when putting together a winch. Save yourself the hassle and get one from us.
Specs:
- All steel construction.
- 12″ long, 12″ diameter, 1/4″ cable groove, 3.5 TPI. There’s a small space between each wrap, so it has 43 wraps; 135 ft capacity, not including safety wraps.
- End plates have 2″ keyed bushings welded in. Shaft not included.

Flange mount encoder
If you’re looking for position feedback, you’ve come to the right place. A 3/8″ output shaft makes it easy to attach a sprocket, timing belt, or rubber wheel to this encoder.

C-Face encoder
C-Face encoders mount between the c-faces of your motor assembly, usually between the motor and gearbox. A little more expensive than flange mount encoders, but it is well-protected, easily mounted, and provides very-high position resolution since it is installed before the speed reducer.

- This encoder includes a 10 ft whip and a connector to connect right to your Stagehand.
- This encoder can be ordered in either 56-C or 180 size c-face.

Rotary limit switch
This is the same limit switch used on our Pushstick winch. 2 limits.
Specs:
- Two normally-closed, cam-activated switches.
- Input gear ratio is 50:1.

Safety Bumper and Interlock Control
If you want to integrate bumper-type limit switches into your Stagehand control system, we’ve got a fully tested system designed specifically for Creative Conners gear. This is a great way to add an additional layer of safety to any setup, like an elevator or a pivoting wall.
The system consists of one or more 8′ rubber bumper switches and an electronic interlock device. The bumper switch is put into either of the limit switch circuits by running a limit cable from the Stagehand to the interlock device, and then to the bumper switch (see image above). The interlock device is powered by the Showstopper using a standard Showstopper cable (5-pin DMX).
Specs:
- Each bumper switch is 8′ long and can be daisy chained. Each switch has 6′ tails on each end.
- Indication lights on the face panel alert the operator to bumper switch status.
- The interlock device converts “Normally Open” contacts of the bumper switch into a fail-safe, “Normally Closed” signal.
- When the bumper is engaged, the interlock allows the machine to run in the opposite direction, moving away from the interference.

SEW Eurodrive gearmotor
The Big Cahuna. This is the same drive-train used on our Pushstick winch. The brake is practically silent. The encoder is mounted on the back-end of the motor.

- 6,450 in*lbs output torque.
- 2″ hollow-bore on gearbox.
