Is It Really True?

It’s true and super exciting. Creative Conners is now part of the world-class Wenger Corporation.

Our focus continues to be developing modular software and machinery to create stunning effects that are easy to use. With Wenger’s backing along with our new colleagues at JR Clancy  we will continue to to help story-tellers use motion to tell better stories.

Who Is Wenger?

Wenger Corporation is in the business of making performances unforgettable, with products built for theatres, performance spaces, and music rooms everywhere.

Is Creative Conners leaving Rhode Island?

We're staying right here in Rhode Island — the biggest little state! Summer is around the corner, the clam shacks are just about to open up, and we wouldn't miss it for the world!

Is Gareth Conner Retiring?

Absolutely not. Gareth is just getting started. He will continue to lead Creative Conners, but with support of Wenger’s administrative team he will spend more time on his passion for products, development, and customer relationships.

Can I still download Spikemark, my favorite automation software?

Of course! We had ambitious plans for Spikemark, but this partnership dares us to dream even bigger. We want to see Spikemark everywhere. From giant arenas to petite black boxes, we want to make it move.

Have you checked out Spikemark 6 yet? It’s our best ever, but it’ll get even better as we roll out a wave of new features and improvements later this year.

Is pricing going to change?

Yes, but not because of this news. We planned for a price change at the beginning of the year due to rising costs and now because of tariffs. But we’re a little slow on the paperwork. Too busy spinning motors, but we’re getting to it.

Will this impact my project or order that is in-process?

Not at all. We’re still moving as usual. Call Pete, Abbie, or Bobby to talk about sales details. Or shoot an email to sales@creativeconner and they'll get in touch ASAP.

Our project management and rental teams are getting your gear out the door and always happy to engage in some tech talk.

What about the quote I got last week?

You’re good. Quotes are valid up to their expiration date or for 30 days after the quote was created. But if you have an older quote, get in touch and we can pop out a fresh one to make sure you have the most recent pricing.

Will this affect my warranties?

Nope, we are honoring our 1 year manufacturer warranty. If you have any warranty issues, just let us know.

Will you have lineset hoists now?

Well, now that you mention it, we do suddenly have colleagues that make the best lineset hoists in the business. So if you always thought a lineset hoist with Stagehand control and Spikemark software was a good idea… you were right. Watch this space for more news as we hit our stride together.

Not that we don’t want to help, but you should call your JR Clancy sales and support contacts. They are experts on their gear and can help you with whatever you need.

Will Spikemark work with my JR Clancy products?

Not yet, but sit tight. We will be working closely with our good friends at JR Clancy. We’re eager to combine talents to offer the best automation platform on the planet. But first, we’re going to grab a coffee and plan out the details.
