Split Accel/Decel

Stagehand Pro allows for complex cues with differing ramp up and ramp down times. Ramp times can be preprogrammed, or changed mid-move with Spikemark. Spikemark time or speed based acceleration graphs make writing the perfect cue fast.
Start a move with excitingly fast acceleration and end the same cue with with a gentle deceleration as your scenery glides into place.

Stagehand Pro reduces the numbers of cables needed to get moving and makes setup a breeze. Industrial cables with latching hoods ensure that power and signal conductors are secure and protected even during the gnarliest load-in and bumpiest tours.

Dual Encoders + Dual Brakes

Stagehand Pro monitors two encoders: one for position and another for speed. The combination ensures pinpoint percision within 0.050” (or better) and full-torque at zero-speed. Your stage machinery delivers strong, smooth acceleration even at the slowest speeds.
One brake, two brakes? No problem, Stagehand Pro has complete control. When hoisting with redundant brakes, Stagehand Pro sequences the release of low-speed and high-speed brakes for silky smooth motion through independent control circuits. When pulling or spinning, Stagehand Pro effortlessly controls a single machine brake. Both brake control circuits are constantly monitored to detect any internal component failure and halt motion if anything misbehaves.

X-Groove

Is the wire rope on that winch drum still wrapping neatly? Now you know instantly with Stagehand Pro. X-groove sensors will halt motion instantly before a cross-groove ruins your wire rope, and your day.

Interlocks

Avoid collisions between machines with easy interlocking. Stagehand Pro includes three interlock inputs to limit movement forward, reverse, or both depending on the position of another machine.

Load Cells

Don’t “guesstimate” how much is hanging from your hoist. Stagehand Pro supports load cells so you know the load on your rig. Set load limits to halt motion in case of overweight or underweight conditions.

Override Buttons

Hit a limit? The road to a recovery lies with override buttons. Pro tip: the override button is super-handy during load-in before all the machine sensors are online.

Soft Start/Stops
Category 1 Emergency Stopping

Triggering the emergency stop on a Stagehand Pro 6 now performs a Category 1 stop. This means the VFD performs a rapid deceleration and then removes power from the motor. The result of this is a gentler stop that is easier on the machine and the load.
