When you need scenery to fly, float, or simply “go up” Spotline is the answer. Its powerful 5 horsepower motor, quiet operation, and redundant safety systems make it a natural fit on any stage or studio. Fly walls, props, LED screens & more.

Full torque at zero speed lets you slowly creep out the Christmas tree for Nutcracker or smoothly fly in the chandelier for Phantom. Using Spikemark’s Group Motion feature it is easy to link several Spotline hoists together to move heavier loads. The helicopter in Miss Saigon can swoop in dramatically and safely.

Intuitive safety

A motor side brake and a secondary brake on the drum shaft adds redundancy to ensure Spotline can stop and hold the load safely in any condition.


The cross-groove sensor will stop the movement before the lifting line is damaged. The integrated load cell will stop the hoist in both overweight and underweight situations. These features are standard on every Spotline so you never to compromise on safety.


Reviewed and stamped by an independent 3rd-party engineering firm, Spotline conforms to ANSI E-1.6-1 2021 and ANSI E-1.43-2016. Rest easy knowing Spotline is safe for scenic hoisting and performer flying.

Need to get that scenery out of the way in a hurry? Spotline can haul up to 36 inches per second (or even 72″/s in special circumstances).

For an 18ft high proscenium opening it can completely clear sight lines in as little as 7 seconds. That’s just three Westside Story “Mambos”.

With Spikemark you can also slowly lower scenery into view and apply full torque at zero speed. No more jerky starts or mandatory speed ramp ups to get moving.

With a 5hp SEW motor,  Spotline can hoist 750 lb without missing a beat. Or you can rig it to your arbor to automate a counter-weight assisted move. Your capacity is only limited by your fly system.
